(Bravehearts) -- Summary from back cover: "The struggle for
power between the Rajputs and Mughals during the medieval
period in Indian history is replete with stories of courage
on both sides. One such tale that is oft repeated is that
of Durgadas, the son of the prime minister of King Jaswant
Singh of Jodhpur. He vowed to liberate Jodhpur from the
Mughal overlords and crown Jaswant Singh's son Ajeet Singh
as king. Loyal Durgadas plotted and planned to achieve this
goal all his life. With a combination of valour and wile he
managed to succeed in his mission after Aurangzeb's death
in 1707." -- Call no.: PN6790 .I54A5no.739

Vasubhaga Datta's version, by Durgasimha, a minister at the

Mythology) -- Summary from back cover: "Envy and flattery
flourished at the court of the powerful king Vaasudeva. It
was a dangerous combination. Vaasudeva became proud and
boastful, only because he shared a name with the divine
Krishna, also known as Vaasudeva. The foolish king
considered himself the lord of the universe! Confusion and
calamity resulted, and together made for a tale in the

companions. Pottik's selfless loyalty is rewarded by

Summary: Vigo arrives and presents his
credentials to Governor Lopez, who suddenly realizes how
valuable Blueberry might be to him. Red and McClure join up
with Kimball and Finlay after Vigo and his men capture
Blueberry and take him into the prison at Corvado. Pearl makes
a bargain with Lopez: She'll marry him if he'll let Blueberry
go. He says okay, but Blueberry can only go after the wedding.
She says okay but it has to be a big wedding with lots of
soldiers in uniforms. Working with Pearl, Red and McClure plan
to attack Corvado during the wedding while the troops are at
church. Meanwhile, Mike works in the quarry trying to figure
out which prisoner is Trevor, the one who supposedly knows
where the gold is hidden. Blueberry finds Trevor and they
almost escape, but it's a setup and they find themselves in the
hands of Chang-li, formerly the Chinese emperor's chief
torturer. On the wedding day, Red, McClure and the outlaws blow
open the walls of Corvado and stampede Lopez's prize bulls
through the opening. They rescue Mike, and it turns out Trevor
used to be Colonel Trevor, the commanding officer of Kimball
and Finlay. They escape to Trevor's hideout which Pearl also
knows how to find. Meanwhile Pearl has taken the vows but
kidnapped the groom, revealed that she's already married to
Trevor, and left Lopez on foot in the desert. Once all are
gathered at the hideout, Trevor refuses to tell anybody where
the gold is, but agrees to lead the Southerners there when they
threaten Pearl. Pearl and the three Yankees are stranded in the
hideout as the outlaws take Trevor at gunpoint to retrieve the
gold.
