Brenda Starr

Newspaper comic strip originated by Dale Messick, later drawn by Ramona Fradon, still later by June Brigman. Writing of the strip passed to Linda Sutter in 1980 and to Mary Schmich in 1985, cf. In later years Brenda has a dog named Patch, and a rival named Vanity Puffington.
