Moe has a habit of having prophetic dreams, or affective
dreams. His brother, a hood who sees a way to profit from
this one, gathers together the heads of the Metropolis mobs
and introduces Moe as the man who can beat Superman. At the
same time Superman finds that his super-strength ebbs and
flows, sometimes present but at other times embarassingly
absent. Finally he has a compulsion to go to the arena

dreamed it. Superman recovers for the rematch, finds that

the greatest ruler of the Maurya dynasty, ruled India from

to Afghanistan and Nepal. Son of King Bindusara, Ashoka had
to fight with his brothers to ascend the throne, but he
proved to be an efficient ruler and worked for the
betterment of his subjects. The quest for expanding the
empire resulted in the Kalinga War which became the turning
point of his life and the destruction he saw led him to
renounce violence. This title narrates the enchanting story
of this great ruler who spread the message of Buddhism,
engraved on rocks and pillars across his empire and his
emblem of four-lions on one of those pillars is India's
official seal today. The middle wheel on the national flag
is also called the Ashoka Chakra." -- Biographical genre.

Khushwant Singh ; illustrations, Ram Waeerkar ; editor,
Anant Pai. p. 1-32 in Amar Chitra Katha, no. 734 (1973,
2010 printing). -- (Bravehearts) -- Summary from back
cover: "Inspired by Guru Gobind Singh, Banda Bahadur led
the Sikh rebellion against the Mughal Empire. For eight
years, he ravaged the whole of North India. The havoc he
created in the Indo-Gangetic plain was of such magnitude
that the Mughals could never restore their administration.

Ahmed Shah Abdali hastened the decline of the once mighty

Punjab. Banda Bahadur thus paved the way for the foundation
