Lady Luck.
"Beach-Head" / Russ Heath. 6 p. in Man Comics, no. 13 (Apr.
1952). -- Summary (by Ben Chabala): Your only objective is
to claim the bloody sand in front of you for the United
States. It doesn't matter that the sarge is dead and that
your best pal just stepped on a mine, you gotta keep
pushing and take the beach from those dirty Krauts. The
Germans aren't giving up without a fight though. They're
slinging hot lead hard and fast and it's only by the good
grace of Lady Luck that you're still firing back. Bombs
fall, bullets fly, and the closer you get to the tree line
the worse it seems to get, but the mission doesn't change:
Establish a beachhead. Do you have the guts to keep going?
