bien peu nombreuses." -- English summary (from p. 151):

Second World War as backdrop: Brune, his first album, and
La Guerre d'Alan, which he started six years later. Erwin

Emotions in Comic Books, Strips, Etc.
Bande Dessinée, no. 2 (Jan. 1997). -- English summary (from
   p. 136): "For a Sensual Approach to Comics: The graphic
style of an artist has considerable impact, at least
unconsciously, on our perception of the story. Pascal
Lefèvre argues that the sensual quality of drawings should
be considered an essential vector of the emotion being
proposed. He suggests that a closer, more discerning look
at the line, colour and internal rhythm of an image will
foster true communion between the reader and the state of
mind of the artist at the moment of creation." -- Call no.:
