Ingaar.
The Three Stars of Ingaar / Léturgie & Philippe Luguy. --
   Fantasy Flight Publishing, 1996. -- 48 p. : col. ill. ; 29
cm.-- (Percevan) -- Translation of: Les Trois Étoiles
   d'Ingaar. -- Fantasy. -- Summary: A storyteller tells
how the legendary Ingaar struck his sword on a stone and
produced three powerful gems. On his death they were
dispersed, but whoever finds them and puts them back in
Ingaar's crown will gain wealth and power. Baron Deadstone
consults the wizard Zenzarael, who confirms the truth of
the story and suggests that the Knight Percevan may have
one of the stones. Deadstone and his assistant Polemic
sneak into the bedroom where Percevan and Blanche Stonefire
are sleeping and steal Percevan's ring. Using his magic on
the gem, Zenzarael is able to determine who has the other
two stones. Percevan's friend Kervin figures out who took
Percevan's stone, and they head for Deadstone's castle.
Zenzarael casts a spell to delay Percevan, which involves
his falling into the hands of the dark, evil and seductive
Balkis and her assistant Shyloc'h. Kervin and Balkis'
blonde, good sister Ariel rescues them. Percevan learns
from Zenzarael that Deadstone will be heading north to the
Land of Ingvaar to get the crown to put his jewels in.
While he's talking to the wizard, the wizard's cat
Belphegor scratches Percevan, and that night in an inn
Percevan loses consciousness. Deadstone, though he doesn't
have the crown yet, figures he's through with the wizard,
and imprisons him. As revenge the wizard sends Balkis to
heal Percevan. To be continued. -- Call no.: PN6747.F3T713
