story, titled "Stampede," has a man riding a normal-looking
bicycle which is apparently able to fly. In the first story of
Bretécher's album Les
Angoisses de Cellulite, a bicycle is invented in the Middle
Ages, when nobody knew what they were, and it gets used as a
sewing machine. Later in the story a sewing machine is invented
and is used as a bicycle.
