The Clone Conspiracy / uncovered, verified and written by
Allan Gross ; art by Mark Wheatley, Marc Hempel and Damon
Willis. -- Baltimore, MD : Insight Studios Group, 1998. --
ca. 200 p. : ill. ; 26 cm. -- "Some of the material in this
book originally appeared in issues 1-5 of the comic book
series Doctor Cyborg." -- Summary: "This action adventure
story proves once and for all that the secret of cloning
arose from an ancient civilization, passing through the
hands of Moses, Jesus, the mysterious man known as
Shakespeare and even John F. Kennedy before falling into
the possession of a splinter group of the Freemasons.
Hidden ciphers lead to a trail of treachery, murder and
deceit that infected the superpower governments of the Cold
War, corrupted pious religious leaders and spawned a
scientific and academic Mafia that jealously guarded our
society's most terrible secret." -- Call no.:

David Jackson. p. 26-34 in Cheval Noir, no. 2 (Oct. 1989) ;
collected in the album Fragments (New York: Nantier Beall
Minoustchine, 1990). -- Summary: In a forest north of
Wheatley-End, under the two oldest trees, known as the
"Devil's Horns," a wizard named Adam Niels has built a hut.
Adam has figured out how to make any sphere self-destruct
by sticking a pin in a certain point on it, and has further
determined that his hut is on the Earth's destruct point.
Whenever he tries his procedure, spheres for miles around
break in sympathy, and the villagers are sick of losing
lamps. The villagers go to the hut intent on destroying it,
and Adam worries what might happen. Just then a gigantic
pin from outer space pokes a hole through the hut into the
ground, but nothing else happens. -- Call no.:
