   col. ill. ; 27 cm. -- Complete in 5 nos. -- "Based on the
   novel written by Dean Koontz & Kevin J. Anderson." --
   Summary (from Skyriver): In a reworking of Mary Shelley's
   classic horror novel, Detective Carson O'Connor and her
   partner, Michael Maddison, are confronted by a serial
   killer in search of victims who possess the humanity
   missing in himself. -- Horror genre. -- LIBRARY HAS: no.

Tortolini, Bill.
   Prodigal Son / created by Dean Koontz & Kevin J. Anderson ;
   written by Chuck Dixon, pencils by Brett Booth ; colors by
   Color Dojo, Andrew Dalhouse, and Mohan ; lettering by Bill
   Tortolini. -- New York : Del Rey/Ballantine Books, 2008. --
   1 v. : col. ill. ; 27 cm. -- (Dean Koontz's Frankenstein ;
   v. 1) -- Originally published in magazine form as Dean
   Koontz's Frankenstein : Prodigal Son, vol. 1, #1-5. --
   "Bonus: includes an original story by Dean Koontz." --
   Summary (from OCLC): His name is Deucalion, a tattooed man
   of mysterious origin, a sleight-of-reality artist who's
   traveled the centuries with a secret worse than death. He
   arrives as a serial killer stalks the streets, a killer who
   carefully selects his victims for the humanity that is
   missing in himself. Detective Carson O'Connor is cool,
   cynical, and every bit as tough as she looks. Her partner
   Michael Maddison would back her up all the way to Hell
   itself, and that just may be where this case ends up. For
   the no-nonsense O'Connor is suddenly talking about an
   ages-old conspiracy, a near immortal race of beings, and
   killers that are more, and less, than human. Soon it will
   be clear that as crazy as she sounds, the truth is even
   more ominous. For their quarry isn't merely a homicidal
   maniac, but his deranged maker. -- Horror genre. -- Call
