She then lies on the barren planet and vegetation springs out from her. -- This story also appears in Heavy Metal Havoc (1995) (Heavy Metal Special ; v. 9, no. 2) (Call no.: PN6728.H43H3 1995) "The Great Undart" p. 27-34 -- Summary: Lorna and her robots are captured and given as birthday presents to Undart, a sort of pirate king. He gets fresh with Lorna and she cuts off his penis. Doctors sew it back on. Lorna gets free, rescues her robots, and in a parting gesture causes Undart to rip his stitches. "Astroport" p. 35-42 -- Summary: Lorna and the robots visit Irut Airport for fuel and a little relaxation. The place has a reputation for being violent. Violence ensues. They meet a little green being whose brain contains many worlds that can become real to those around him. He can't concentrate, though, so the scenery keeps changing. Lorna ties him up and puts a metal helmet on his head, so at least the adventures happen only to himself. "The Gate" p. 43-48 -- Summary: A story without words. Lorna confronts a mirror-like gate and is pulled through by ungentle, clawed hands for some recreation, apparently a sexual experience with an incompletely seen monster or monsters having at least five arms. She is then ejected minus her clothes. -- This story also appears in Heavy Metal Special ; v. 10, no. 2 (Fall 1996) (Call no.: PN6728.H43S5 1996) "Pilgrims" p. 49-56 -- Summary: Lorna's robot is trying to fix their vehicle when three little pilgrims, whose eyes are always directed towards heaven, offer to help. They fix the vehicle and attend to Lorna's needs. Lorna then crashes the vehicle beyond repair. The robot begins constructing a raft by a river, while Lorna goes swimming. The robot is concerned when a large school of fish approaches Lorna, but it turns out they like her. The enthusiastic thrusting of the fish works to propel their raft.
