He sneaks out of the house to attend the theater and buys a ticket for one of the balcony seats. From the stage, Akut recognizes the boy for who he must be and leaps to join him. Akut refuses to return to the stage but just as the situation must be resolved, the door to the balcony opens to admit Tarzan, Lord Greystoke. The ape's owner refuses to sell the animal but finally Jack frees him, and travels with him back to Africa. He is first disguised as an Indian Prince, then an Italian immigrant with a mustache, a steamer trunk, a steward aboard a luxury cruiser which is the disguise he uses to steal papers from a guest aboard the cruiser. He then jumps overboard and swims to a gambling ship, where he dons a disguise as a bearded nobleman wearing a monacle. After losing at the gambling tables of his accomplice (a crouper), the man stumbles up the gangway, takes out a hand gun and fires it at his chest. The crouper carries him to the private suite of Votch, the ship's owner, who wants to keep a suicide quiet so the other gamblers are not disturbed. When Votch is out of his suite, the nobleman springs to life and finds the small piece of paper he hoped would be there, hidden in the steamer trunk. A few minutes later, Votch returns and instructs the crouper to throw the suicide's body overboard. Everything went just as smoothly as Harry and the Chief had planned. But someone is on to Harry. With a little detective work, he discovers that Eli's grandfather was a mining partner with Clarabelle's grandfather. Perhaps they found something. She disembarkes at Swari, a small garrison town at the edge of the jungle. That evening she hears the drums of welcome and hears that The Phantom has returned. Roark, her contact, has a room all ready for her but she wants to immediately go into the jungle to seek The Phantom. Soon after, the Phantom inspects Bandar to see what changes have occurred in his absence, and finds too many young men gone. He knocked at her door, proposed to her, and Olive Oyl fainted dead away. When she woke up, she said "YES!" Popeye wants to get married immediately but Olive's mother asks for an hour to bake a cake. While he's waiting for the cake to bake, Popeye tells Wimpy his decision. Wimpy asks where they will live and Popeye reveals that he's always wanted to live on a farm. Wimpy points out that Popeye doesn't own a farm, which is correct, so Popeye decides to buy one. This leads to a trip to the country which becomes a trip to the weatherman's office (because the farmers don't like the weather), which leads to the only place in the world that can control the weather, Neutopia.
