Aya.
Forbidden Dance. v. 1 / written and illustrated by Hinako
Ashihara. -- Los Angeles : Tokyopop, 2003. -- 1 v. : ill. ;
19 cm. -- "100% authentic manga". -- Summary: "When a young
girl named Aya loses her confidence to dance, she fears
she'll never set foot on the stage again. But then she sees
Akira and the COOL ballet troupe perform, and everything
changes. Akira inspires her to pursue her dream and dance
again. Soon, her primary goal is to join the COOL ballet
troupe. She's never wanted anything more in her life!
There's only one problem: COOL is an all-male dance troupe,
and Aya is 100% female. But so what if she's missing a Y
chromosome? Aya's got spunk, skill and passion, and in the
end she hopes that her undying determination will help her
beat the odds." -- PN6790.J33 A83F601 2003

will Aya be able to tear herself away in time? The world of
dance can make or break you, and dancers must find within

long history together. Is it romantic or professional, or
both? Meanwhile, COOL needs to find a sponsor for the
upcoming anniversary show, so Aya and Akira approach a
wealthy yet demanding businessman. He agrees to contribute
on one condition, but it's a condition that Aya doesn't
agree with. Will Akira put Aya's feelings first? Just when
Aya thinks she has things figured out, Akira announces he's
taking Diana back to London. Aya is slowly learning that
succeeding in the world of dance takes more than just
talent, much more." -- Call no.: PN6790.J33 A83F603 2004

Ayudeme Doctora Corazón--Miscellanea.
"Bochorno" (Memín) / dibujo, Sixto Valencia ; argumento de
Yolanda V. Dulché. 32 p. in Memín, no. 18 (1983). --
SUMMARY: It's summer vacation time. Ricardo, Ernestillo,
Carlangas and Memín become newsboys. Memín is very good at
it, and sells his whole day's supply of papers and
magazines in half an hour. He sells the newspapers by
shouting that an atomic bomb has landed in the city park,
and he sells his "Doctora Corazon" magazines to people who
look like they're having trouble in their love lives.
Carlos and Ernesto have average success, while Ricardo only
sells one paper, to a friend of his father's. Memín is soon
in trouble with his friends and his mother for lying to
sell papers. Memín is grounded and has to help his mother
with the laundry until further notice. Ricardo is also in
trouble with his mother, who finds it an embarrassment that
her son should be hawking papers on the street. Though
Ricardo had his father's consent and approval to try the
job, his father finally advises that he'd better quit to
spare his mother's feelings, especially since she threatens
to divorce her husband if he doesn't back her up. The
parents of Ernesto and Carlos are happy for the extra
money. Carlos's mother says that when he finishes school
she's arranged an internship for him. One morning Carlos is
running across the street and gets hit by a car. -- Call
