World Trade Center

The two tallest buildings of New York City's World Trade Center were destroyed by a terrorist attack in 2001. See also the 1985 title Revenge of the Living Monolith, the cover scene of which shows one of the towers of the Center being destroyed by an Egyptian villain. A single remaining tower is a gang headquarters in the 1986 Pepe Moreno album Rebel, in a story that has most of New York already in ruins. Rebel climbs the tower, then parachutes from the top.
