   studious as she. When Paul tells her about his plans to go
   to graduate school and become a teacher, and that he hopes
   she will marry him, Jane says it's too soon to think about
   that. The next day Roy returns to the library for more
   help. By assisting him, she finds that Roy is more serious
   than she thought. He asks her to the prom and tells her
   that asking for help was just an excuse to get close to
