She destroys it with the comment: 'Some ancient idiot forgot to turn off her vibrator!' -- This story also appears in Heavy Metal, v. 30, no. 7 (May 1993) (Call no.: PN6728.H43v.30no.7)

They get no money. -- This story also appears in Heavy Metal, v. 14, no. 3 (July 1990), p. 88-91 (Call no.: PN6728.H43v.14no.3) and in 15 Years of Heavy Metal (1992) (Heavy Metal Special ; v. 6, no. 4) (Call no.: PN6728.H43.F5 1992)

"The Return" p. 13-22 -- Summary: Mouse sends out bounty hunters to get Lorna and her robots. A being crashes and is almost killed near Lorna's station and is rescued by the robots. It is dying and demands sex, then it dies and gives birth to an even more agressive being, that has a bomb. The robots rush Lorna into her spaceship and escape as the station explodes. The bounty hunters are caught in the explosion and return to Mouse damaged and empty-handed.

"Blue Chip, or, The Planet Installation" p. 23-26 (signed C. Buiza & A. Azpiri; not a 'Lorna' story) -- Summary: A parable of the beginning of life on Earth, showing the mating of a woman and a hooded figure who calls her 'Mother.' She then lies on the barren planet and vegetation springs out from her. -- This story also appears in Heavy Metal Havoc (1995) (Heavy Metal Special ; v. 9, no. 2) (Call no.: PN6728.H43H3 1995)

Doctors sew it back on. Lorna gets free, rescues her robots, and in a parting gesture causes Undart to rip his stitches.

"Astroport" p. 35-42 -- Summary: Lorna and the robots visit Irut Airport for fuel and a little relaxation. The place has a reputation for being violent. Violence ensues. They meet a little green being whose brain contains many worlds that can become real to those around him. He can't concentrate, though, so the scenery keeps changing. Lorna ties him up and puts a metal helmet on his head, so at least the adventures happen only to himself.

"The Gate" p. 43-48 -- Summary: A story without words. Lorna confronts a mirror-like gate and is pulled through by ungentle, clawed hands for some recreation, apparently a sexual experience with an incompletely seen monster or monsters having at least five arms. She is then ejected minus her clothes. -- This story also appears in Heavy Metal Special ; v. 10, no. 2 (Fall 1996) (Call no.: PN6728.H43S5 1996)

"Pilgrims" p. 49-56 -- Summary: Lorna's robot is trying to fix their vehicle when three little pilgrims, whose eyes are always directed towards heaven, offer to help. They fix the vehicle and attend to Lorna's needs. Lorna then crashes the vehicle beyond repair. The robot begins constructing a raft by a river, while Lorna goes swimming. The robot is concerned when a large school of fish approaches Lorna, but it turns out they like her. The enthusiastic thrusting of the fish works to propel their raft.
