Happy Birthday, Lubna

Summary: Lubna and Ranx live in New York for a month, and Ranx drives a cab. They're poor and Lubna threatens to leave if she doesn't get a "great present" for her 19th birthday. They live with a young man named Timothy, whose hobby is collecting snapshots of people who die violently. He follows ambulances for his thrills and hopes to die that way himself. He has Ranx lock him naked in the trunk of his taxi. After that, the first fare hires Ranx for the night. Ranx ties her up and takes her money and a ticket to a fancy party. At the party he picks up some heroin for Lubna's birthday, and gets the host's attention by maiming a few gay men and killing a baboon. The host, Enogabal, hires him for a violent car race in his taxi. Ranx kills the other participants, ending up by driving his taxi off an overpass onto the opposing team. He then remembers Timothy in the trunk, who dies happy. The evening has been very profitable, so Lubna's present is a flight back to Rome.

Back in Rome, Lubna's girlfriends take her shopping for heroin and stolen credit cards. Carmen (age 3 1/2) sneaks into a forbidden room in the dealer's apartment and finds a violent Elvis fan with two heads. They insult his music, and he goes wild with a chainsaw. Carmen leaves and gets her gang of pre-schoolers with knives, and they butcher him. All this time Ranx has been left at home to record a TV movie, which the girls make him replay from a wire in his head at the end.
