The Great Eagle helps the hero in the juvenile western album Yakari and the White Buffalo. In the Blueberry album Broken Nose, Blueberry catches an eagle to get a present for Cochise's daughter. In the Jeremiah album Talons of Blood, a character named Fat-Eye has pet eagles and ends up being a meal for them. In the story "Island in a Frozen Sea," Thorgal's bride to be is stolen by eagles on their wedding day. This is in the album The Sorceress Betrayed. See also
