Pharas enters and makes Rork take off his dark cowl, and

that Rork really isn't there. Pharas takes the assembled

Rork can be seen in suspended animation, caught between
worlds. Deliah tries to free him with her powers, which

Niels hits the spherical ship with an arrow to its fatal
point, and blows it up. Adam has figured out that it was
this ship that earlier destroyed his laboratory. Adam
reveals that it was he who hired Raffington Stevens. In the
confusion, Rork and Deliah have teleported together, but
Pharas says they probably didn't arrive anywhere together.

Superman, no. 408 (June 1985) -- Summary (by Mary Walker):
Cold war. Headline in the opening sequence "Nuke Talks
Collapse--Soviets Walk Out As Tensions Mount" The nukes
fall and seconds later the only one left standing is
Superman who can't believe what has happened, and then is
hit with major guilt ("I'm Superman! I should have done
something..."). It was a dream. He thinks about his dream
as he goes about handling other things noting how the dream
   isn't too far-fetched. "The two super-powers possess
nuclear arsenals big enough to blow up the world a few
thousand times over! Mankind has the technical know-how to
build these weapons--but do they have the maturity to be
trusted with them? They're almost child-like in their
comparison of weapons...each trying to outdo the other with
